The good news, though, the Xbox Series X Quick Resume crash can be fixed. Searching the internet, it seems like this is a common Xbox Series X problem, but no one had a fix. The Xbox had quick saved the game in a quick resume crash state, and I thought I was doomed (no Bethesda pun intended). At the heart of the problem was the Xbox Series X Quick Resume function. Restarts of the console didn’t fix the issue, and I couldn’t find a solution.
The Xbox Controller was unresponsive, and the only options I had were to shut down or restart the console. I was playing Wolfenstein Old Blood on my Xbox Series X with the Quick Resume option, and when I returned, the game had crashed or was frozen.
